Therapy with me looks like….

Relational and Collaborative

I believe therapy is most effective when it feels like a true partnership. I show up authentically and invite you to do the same—so you feel seen and understood, not analyzed from a distance. Together, we’ll set goals and adapt as your needs evolve.

Evidence-Based & Specialized

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you recognize unhelpful thought patterns and practice new ways of responding.

I’m also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which allows us to address the deeper wounds or traumas that may be fueling present struggles.

My experience spans outpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), and partial hospitalization (PHP) levels of care, giving me a strong foundation to support both straightforward and more complex cases. When needed, I collaborate with medical doctors, dietitians, and other providers to ensure your care is truly comprehensive.

Strengths-Based and Supportive Challenge

Healing requires both compassion and honesty. I’ll encourage and support you, but I’ll also invite you to stretch, take ownership, and build skills that last long after therapy ends. My goal is to equip you so that therapy becomes a launching point for growth, not a lifelong crutch.

Culturally Aware & Personally Grounded

As a Black therapist, I bring awareness of how culture, identity, and representation shape our stories. Representation matters, and I strive to create a space where you don’t have to minimize or explain your experience. As a former NCAA athlete, I also understand how identity, body image, and performance pressures uniquely intersect with mental health.

Faith-Informed Care

For clients who desire it, I integrate Christian faith into the therapeutic process, drawing from years of experience weaving spiritual values into mental health work. Faith can be a powerful source of strength and meaning, and I provide space for prayer, reflection, or open conversation about how your faith connects to daily life. Integration is always optional and client-led, ensuring that therapy reflects your values and comfort level.

Purpose-Oriented Healing

My approach goes beyond symptom relief. Together, we’ll focus on helping you reclaim the energy, clarity, and confidence to live fully—whether that’s in your faith, your relationships, your career, or motherhood.

Let the Healing Begin

You don’t have to do this alone. Healing is possible, and support can make all the difference. Whether you’re working through an eating disorder, body image concerns, or stress that feels heavy, I’m here to help.
